How to use the 128 Hz tuning fork on your forehead.
This is one of my favorite techniques to use with the Otto 128 Hz weighted tuning forks, which I call;
“Third Eye Activation”
For people into chakras, they know that this is the third eye, or Ajna chakra. This is also a great point to access the Vagus nerve and have the intention simply to relax the nervous system. You could also imagine balancing the pineal gland.
This is one of the 4 main techniques that I teach in my class entitled “Healing with Tuning Forks”. The most recent class at Learn Reiki Philadelphia was a great success, with 6 students learning the art of energy healing with tuning forks! In the class, students have the opportunity to see a full demonstration of how to do this technique, as well as a sound meditation activation, where they are attuned by Spirit and then have the opportunity to practice the techniques they have learned.
Here are a few photos from the recent class.
I am looking forward to the next class on November 30th! There are only 3 spots left for this class. Follow this link to register!
I’m so excited to be teaching this specialized class on how to use tuning forks for healing! This is one of my biggest passions in the healing arts, and I believe there is so much creative potential when it comes to vibrational healing. After all, “everything is vibration”.
Step into the exciting world of vibrational healing with Reiki Master and Sound Healing practitioner Victoria Powell! Whether you are new to the healing arts or are a practitioner eager to add the element of sound into your offerings, you will leave with effective new ways to impact the well-being of yourself and others. Together, we will learn to use both weighted tuning forks, which can be placed gently on the body, and non-weighted (Otto) tuning forks, which are great for tuning the human energy field (sometimes called the “aura”). Our three-hour journey includes a group sound meditation, lecture/lesson and plenty of time for practice. Not only will you learn new ways to support yourself and others but you’ll feel sooo much better too! Each class is limited to just 6 students.
The cost of this workshop is just $55. $20 deposit holds your space with the remainder of tuition payable at workshop via cash or credit card.
Suggested class tools: Victoria recommends you purchase the Otto 128 Hz Tuning Fork, which is available locally from the Jefferson University Bookstore (1009 Chestnut Street) for ($15) or online via AllHeart.com ($21.48 with shipping). Bring any tuning forks you may already have.
This center is also home to a beautiful vegan and gluten-free cafe, and is a Zero Waste facility! The food and beverages are all so delicious! I especially love the Cacao Maca Matcha Latte. I am so inspired and grateful to be able to teach in a place like this.
If you have been curious about Reiki, or wanted to try a new method of Self-Care, this is the perfect place to start. Reiki is amazing because once you are attuned, it comes with you wherever you go.
Here is a flyer which includes a photo from the last time I taught at Sunset Moon Wellness Center. In the photo, we are looking at a Crystal Grid we created. In the middle of the grid, it says “May the followers of all religions and spiritual paths work together to create peace among all people on Earth”. We also put our own intentions on pieces of paper under the crystals and sent Reiki to the grid, to empower our intentions, as well as the one in the quote. This was a nice touch to add to the Reiki class, and I will most likely do this again!
I have noticed that there are many visitors to my site from India. And recently I have been very much in love with the culture of India! I know that India is vast and has many different subcultures. Yet I still love to dream about visiting India one day. I also have been told that I have had past lives in India. And I believe this is very likely to be true!
So to anyone from India, thank you for visiting my website!
A few months ago, a dear friend introduced me to the teachings of Mooji. I had heard about Mooji and maybe had seen one or two videos but nothing really stuck. Once I met this friend, he really helped me to go deeper into the teachings of Mooji. I feel that what Mooji teaches is great for all spiritual seekers, and can be especially helpful for Reiki practitioners as well. At first, I didn’t resonate as much with Mooji because I was only interested in learning more about Reiki and energy healing (and I knew that Mooji didn’t really delve into those topics specifically). But once I began learning more about his teachings and watching his Youtube videos, I found them to be very beneficial. This goes along with my previous blog post “Does it matter what you think about while giving reiki?” because many of Mooji’s teachings have to do with realizing that we are not the mind. Therefore, he also makes it easier to detach from the mind and be in a natural state of being and inner peace. I would love to visit Rishikesh one day! As I may have mentioned here before, I am also a lover of the Ascended Master Babaji, and I have a picture of him hanging at the foot of my bed so I see his face every night before I go to sleep and every morning when I wake up. With the same friend that introduced me to Mooji, I also had the joy of watching the documentary on Yogananda called Awake: The Life of Yogananda. It was a beautiful documentary that I highly recommend!
I also want to mention my love for the Akashic records, as the word Akasha आकाश originates from a Sanskrit word for aether or atmosphere!
Here are a few photos and a video of my recent adventure at the Festival of India & Parade of Chariots in Philadelphia!
Sending you positive, loving energy, right through this screen!
People often ask me, how do you make sure you’re not taking on other people’s energy during a Reiki session?
My standard reply used to be, “It just doesn’t happen, that’s not the nature of Reiki”. In my experience, I usually feel great and energized during and after a Reiki session. One of the intention statements that I learned during my Reiki training at Learn Reiki Philadelphia, is “Please keep our personal energies separate”. I usually state this to myself while calling in the Reiki energy during a private session.
This usually worked well, along with the divine, infinite intelligence of Reiki that automatically knows where it needs to flow. And honestly, I would tell them, it seemed that I had more trouble making sure I wasn’t taking on other people’s energy in my daily life rather than in Reiki sessions. This may be because during the Reiki session the pure intention and consciousness are there, while in regular life, I could have been unconsciously trying to heal others, or just picking up on other people’s stuff. One statement that really helped me with preventing that was “I set the condition that only that which is my vibration or higher may enter my field”. -Cynthia Lamb VibrantFreedom.com
After using that statement, along with periodically wiping off my own energy field and connecting to love energy, my energy had improved greatly. Still, as a Reiki Master, I am always on the path of growth and transformation. I’m always open to learning more and improving my own energy vibration. So last week, I was at one of my favorite spiritual vortexes in PA, The Being One Center for the Night of Energy Healing. I was talking to one of the practitioners there and I asked him, so do you have any techniques for making sure you don’t take on other people’s energy? He said, “Think of fertilizer… What’s it made of?”
“Shit, or poop” I replied.
We already know how much plants and trees love and thrive on fertilizer. Well, he went on to explain that the Earth, also thrives when we release our “negative energy” so to speak, down into her. I had heard of this before, but I always felt a bit guilty, as if I shouldn’t be sending this negative energy or shit, down into Mother Earth. This analogy of “negative energy” being like fertilizer for the Earth, really struck a chord with me and opened me up to a new way of looking at things. I could feel the resonance in my body as he spoke on the subject, telling me that it resonated as true for me at that moment. I have definitely had the experience of hugging or holding a tree and then feeling much more grounded and connected.
So the next time you start to feel any type of energy that’s not yours, one thing you can do is to imagine this energy going directly down into the Earth. There it will no longer be yours to carry. And, try embracing this new perspective, that the Earth actually benefits, when you let go and release this energy down to her!
It’s a plus if you can actually get out into nature and feel the magic. If not, and you’re stuck inside, the visualization still works!
I hope this provides an enlightening perspective and can offer you some insight!
Have you ever taken on someone else’s energy? Have you found an effective way to release it that wasn’t mentioned here? Did you enjoy this post? Please let me know in the comments!
This weekend, I am burning old karmic tendencies, or samskaras. I have always held true that the more we work on ourselves, the more we can be of service to people and the planet. On Thursday, I was spontaneously invited to a special fire ceremony and to do some land/ space clearing. It was emotionally & spiritually intense but felt well worth it as I transformed old pain and suffering (kind of like the picture above).
It truly felt like we were in the 5th dimension, as I was with a new spirit friend I had met earlier that day. His spirit came to me in a dream 4 nights before we met in the Local Yoga Cafe. It was a true mystical synchronicity… but I will write more about that later. Our motto for the day was It’s ok to have fun & get things done! Bringing the aspect of play is a great way to heal our inner children. Anyway, I will be continuing this fire today and releasing and transmuting more.
Have you ever seen the movie Waking Life? It is one of my favorite movies. I used to be afraid when I saw the part where the guy pours gasoline on himself and lights himself on fire.
Now I’m a little less afraid, and I’ve realized that it’s something that monks have actually done in the past. Maybe the monks have done it with a bit more spiritual reverence and intention than the guy in Waking Life though. While I would never do this to my physical body, I did envision it for myself in meditation this morning. I actually visualized the metaphysical flames covering my body. Since I am a Holy Fire Reiki Master, this actually feels really good energetically! It is gentle and it does not hurt (lol). Sometimes the flames are red and sometimes I focus on calling in the Violet flame or a Purple flame. You can try this too!
And of course, if you would like to learn how to channel pure Reiki energy, I’m teaching and facilitating a class coming up on June 9th and 10th at Learn Reiki Philadelphia in Old City. The abundance exchange is $250 and there’s currently a sale for 10% off! I’m so excited to facilitate this amazing healing energy and hold space for transformation within you! If this feels tingly and exciting to you, feel free to send me a message, or sign up here! (Scroll to bottom)
I’m also available for private sessions, where we could work on these techniques 1 on 1. Allow Spirit to flow through me, and guide you on a healing journey. Make your dreams a reality, and live the life you choose to create through Love.
“It is a complete truth that you are absolute perfection in the eyes of the Divine and are loved unconditionally.”- Divine message from Susan Suehr.
Allow me to elaborate;
develop or present (a theory) in detail.
Right now, I am sitting on Drexel’s campus, just observing and reflecting. And feeling grateful for how much I’ve learned, grown and changed since graduating almost three years ago. One of the ways I’ve changed is by learning and growing into this deep truth which Susan shared! If more people knew they were loved unconditionally, imagine what the world would be like! Sitting here, reflecting back on being the starry eyed college me, I remember comparing myself to others, wanting to fit in, and holding back my true self in fear of what others may think. I have no regrets, and I’m very grateful for where I am today! I’ve grown so much, and the process of blossoming continues!
Especially with the help of the Akashic Records, I am learning more and more to trust…
Trust in my guides, my inner guidance, and my Masters, Teachers and Loved Ones. I am learning to trust in Divine Order, and allow myself to be guided. Is there a Divine Plan? Did my soul create my life’s path before I was born? I choose to believe in Free Will, and what I’ve learned from studying the Akashic Records supports this belief as well. But… that doesn’t mean that my soul used its own “Free Will” to make some choices about my life path before I was born! This idea intrigues me. Dolores Cannon says that when we are “up there”, in between lives, our souls work with our Masters Teachers and Loved Ones to make choices about how we are going to come back in the next life. Of course karma, choices, or other events from past lives may affect present life circumstances as well.
Sooo… Does this mean our lives are just elaborate stories, pre-written by our soul’s before birth?
involving many carefully arranged parts or details; detailed and complicated in design and planning.
Well, the great news is that- I believe- each person has the full potential to create the life of their dreams, no matter their circumstances! An idea I learned from Christie Marie Sheldon is, everyone can achieve their dreams… the soul would not have created those dreams for you if you weren’t meant to live them! In other words, if the soul can dream it, it is possible. In each moment, we have the potential to make a new choice, which could lead our lives into a completely different direction. There are infinite possibilities. But I sort of feel, that there is a path (for each of us) that will bring us higher alignment with our soul’s purpose, if we follow the breadcrumbs of excitement and bliss in each moment. Meaning we could choose to deny our soul’s calling to be a public speaker, and hide away as a hermit, all the while knowing we are denying something. This would be free will at play. (That’s not to say someone’s soul purpose could never be a hermit existence filled with peace and solitude).
But what about… before the beginning of the beginning, before our soul was born? Maybe that’s a whole ‘nother story^
Does destiny exist? Does fate exist? Can destiny and free will co-exist? (Comment below with thoughts!)
Welcome to the ever wandering mind of Victoria. Now you have a taste of what it’s like to be in my brain 24-7. I do believe in the Big Bang, as I mentioned in my last post. Other than that, I am still on a journey of learning, philosophizing and theorizing, and I can’t say I know for sure. But deep down my Infinite Self knows the Truth. And the main Truth which is most important to integrate right now is that we are All Love! Everything is Love and Love is All That Is. There is no such thing as punishment from God. Because there is a piece of God, Divine Spark in each of us.
Grounding back into the present moment… It is vital that we practice self-love (from the heart) and practice compassion (as the new compass) on the path to self-realization and remembering.
P.S. I’m sorry for the pronoun shifts half way through! I hope I didn’t confuse I/you/me/we too much! We are All One anyway right? lol
There is a quantum phenomenon which seems to run counter to common sense, or else that tells us that common sense is not really the way the world works. The reality of this phenomenon has been established experimentally, notably by the French team of Alain Aspect, in 1983.
One experiment demonstrating quantum non-locality involves atoms of calcium that are put into an unstable energy state so that they emit a pair of identical photons traveling in opposite directions at the speed of light.
Since they are both moving apart at the speed of light, their velocities add, so they are actually separating at twice the speed of light. Modern technology allows us to track the behavior of these two photons as they move apart.
The behavior seems very strange. As one of the photons passes through a polarizer that changes a property called spin, the spin of the other photon changes also. The first photon appears to send its twin a message describing what happened to it, no matter how far away they are from each other or how fast they are separating.
Since relativity theory does not allow for any kind of message that is faster than the speed of light, one can only conclude that there are some means of instantaneous communication between the two photons that were once together in the original calcium atom.
. EINSTEIN`S SPOOKY DESCRIPTION
Einstein called this “spooky action at a distance.” It is as though the separation of the particles is an illusion—once particles are paired they will always be paired.
Since all matter in the universe was once gathered together in one place, before the big bang, all matter in the universe continues to be in relation to all other matter.

The first time I had heard of this experiment was through a video of a lecture given by Gregg Braden. I had already experienced the proof and benefits of Distance Reiki, without understanding how it really worked. Finding out about this experiment gave me a new perspective and insight into how I could explain Distance Reiki to others in a new and exciting way.
I was participating as a vendor of Reiki and Sound healing at the recent Spiritual Awakening Expo in Bordentown, NJ.
I was running a bit late and felt a bit flustered as I was checking in and setting up for the day. But also filled with excitement about what the day would bring, and what types of spiritual people I would meet.
So, recently during my sessions, I am beginning to see images more and more. Some people may call this Clairvoyance.
At the expo, I am about to give a Reiki session to a woman that seems to be around my age. She is beautiful and has brown hair cut to around her neck. She has never had reiki before, but she has been told that it’s something she needs to learn.
So during the session, I will usually close my eyes. And sometimes I will focus my attention on my third eye region. This brings me into a meditative state and allows me to use my intuition to sense what is going on within the client, whether it be mind, body, spirit or a combination (since everything is connected anyway!).
So, I will be honest, I am a work in progress, (aren’t we all?), and in my current state, there are still times where I will have the fear of saying something totally out of the ballpark. For example, “I’m seeing an orange cat, do you have any cats?”, and the client replies, “No… I’m not sure”. I also sometimes have the fear or worry, with some pieces of information, that it’s just something I made up in my imagination, (image-machine) or mind. So being able to more clearly determine which messages or pieces of information are coming from my intuition (a true Divine message), or are something from my own consciousness, is something I would like to work on.
But honestly, it’s all ok! Usually, when I say something that I saw, for example, “I was seeing giraffes”. The client may just say ok, hm… It could symbolize something or it could just be something that doesn’t mean much to them.
On the other hand, there are times, where the image or vision is so strong, that I know it is not coming from me. With the client on Saturday at the Expo, I placed my hands on to the top of her head, allowing the gentle Reiki energy to flow through. And a few minutes into the session, I began seeing the image of the Statue of Liberty in my mind’s eye.I thought wow, where did that come from? It’s not like I had been thinking of the Statue of Liberty or visited it recently. This is one of those moments where I had the initial fear, “Should I say something? What if it means nothing and disrupts the flow of the session?”. But as I mentioned, the image was so strong that I just took a shot and told her what I saw at that moment. She laughed… paused…
And replied, “A mystic recently told me that I need to visit the Statue of Liberty.”
An amazing message from Spirit, being delivered through the Quantum Field through me. So, I just verified what the other mystic said. But it felt pretty cool! I went on to continue the session, bringing and allowing her to bring more Light into her body and energy field through Reiki. After the session, I asked her how she felt, and she replied that she felt very good and relaxed. She went on to say that the mystic told her that the Statue of Liberty was made of a certain metal that would be beneficial to be around. Interesting! If anyone reading this knows any other mystical secrets about the Statue of Liberty, comment below!
I am so grateful for these mystical experiences. I want to continue growing so that I can become even stronger in my visionary abilities. And to be an open channel for the highest healing energy, surrendering and trusting so that this can flow through me.
What are three ways we can strengthen the third eye?
1. Nourish the pineal gland
Sugar, Caffeine, Alcohol and Tobacco (S.C.A.T.): A diet free of these will not only flush the system, but it will also bring about your inner energy or “Chi” and allow you to have a more balanced mind/body. The longer you avoid these the better, but it must be for at least two months to help the pineal gland. –The Art of Unity.com
Again, I will admit, I’m not perfect and so I still have sugar and caffeine (occasionally) in my diet. But this is a reminder for me to start now! By eliminating as much sugar and caffeine as possible. I say this because I know I do feel better when I live this lifestyle. I love cacao as a morning drink, which is a great alternative to coffee. Also, I love fruit! So I don’t think that healthy amounts of fruit are bad for the pineal gland. I think he is referring to cane sugar. As for alcohol, I have found in my current lifestyle, it is best for me to avoid. And as for Tobacco, I do believe it can be used as a sacred tool/ ritual, such as rapé, which in my experience actually made me feel more clear. But I’m not sure I would want to do it every day. This is just my preference, but see what works for you!
Meditation is the world’s most potent and effective third eye opening, awakening, and decalcification tool. –EOCInstitute.org
In the quote above, I’m not sure how meditation directly decalcifies the pineal gland, but I know that it does assist with “third eye opening” and awakening. There is so much research coming out these days on how meditation affects the brain. All of the effects are positive! One of the recent facts that I learned while listening to the Meditation Masterclass from Mindvalley with Vishen Lakhiani and Emily Fletcher was that meditation strengthens the corpus callosum (a broad band of nerve fibers joining the two hemispheres of the brain), therefore strengthening and balancing the two hemispheres of the brain.
3. Learn Reiki! and Practice
When I began learning Reiki, it felt like the door (from my crown chakra to the Spirit dimensions) flew open! Of course, it was the perfect amount for me at the time, and it’s not like it was completely shut before that either. I may be exaggerating by saying it “flew open” but it opened significantly, expanding my awareness and enhancing my senses. It also provides a good pathway to learn more about intuition or practice techniques to strengthen intuition. If you are interested in learning reiki, I’m going to be teaching a Usui / Holy Fire Reiki Level 1 class on June 9th and 10th in Philadelphia at Learn Reiki Philadelphia.

Thanks, Alejandra of Copper Fox Photography for these beautiful photos! I had an amazing time shooting with her around my hometown “Everybody’s Home Town” of Media, PA. It was a bit chilly on this April day, but it felt good to brave the cold in order to accomplish what we set out to, a successful photo shoot!
