Victoria Canada Day Presented by Central Walk

The City of Victoria is located on the homelands of the Songhees and Esquimalt People.

The City of Victoria’s Canada Day will be held at Ship Point on Victoria’s Inner Harbour on Friday, July 1. The day will be filled with entertainment and activities for the entire family with live music on the main stage, interactive displays, flavours of the world, and a fireworks spectacular to conclude the festivities.



Highlights of Canada Day:

• First Nations canoe arrival protocol and an Official Welcoming Ceremony.

• Performance by the Lekwungen Dancers

• Live Performances on the Main Stage from noon to 10:15pm

• Multicultural dance and musical performances

• Accessible area for viewing

• Multicultural Street Market with Artisan Vendors

• Flavours of the World Food Truck Alley

• Kids Zone with Bouncy Castle, face painting, fun and games

• Fireworks at 10:20 set off from the Songhees Beach across the Harbour from Ship Point
