Kristin Dahl
Founder & CEO, Crosscurrent Collective
Kristin Dahl is the founder and CEO of Crosscurrent Collective, a destination planning firm that supports communities with destination strategy, community engagement and bringing big, messy visions of their future to life. Crosscurrent is based in (what Kristin says is) the best spot in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. The team focuses on outdoor recreation destinations in the West, stretching from Alaska to British Columbia, Montana to Northern California.
She gained invaluable experience in 13 years at Travel Oregon, most recently as VP of Destination Development. She conceived, created and built one of North America’s most respected destination development programs, and also developed community-driven tourism solutions and statewide networks that advance destination sustainability.
Kristin lives well and plays hard with her family – rafting, tele skiing and mountain biking. She’s also founder and board chair of the Columbia Gorge Tourism Alliance, a pioneering, internationally recognized destination management impact network.
