Bobbi Rose Koe

Founder, Dinjii Zhuh Adventures

Bobbi Rose Koe is Teetl'it Gwich'in meaning People of the headwaters. Of the North, she was raised in Fort McPherson, Northwest Territories and now resides on the land and home of the Kwanlin Dun and Ta'an Kwäch'än Territory in Whitehorse, Yukon. Raised by her grandparents and her community, Bobbi Rose travelled throughout the Gwich'in Country spending time on the land with her family and friends living the traditional Gwich’in lifestyle.

Bobbi Rose loves to teach, sharing her knowledge with anyone who wants to learn. This is the way she was raised. To continue to share what we have when we can, where we can. Using these teachings, Bobbi - Rose is a compelling advocate for environmental issues, especially concerning the Peel River Watershed an Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

In May of 2021, Bobbi Rose launched Dinjii Zhuh Adventures with the respect, love and permission of her elders. One of the first Gwich’in women to launch an outdoor adventure company, she is a trailblazer in the North. When she's not on the river, she can be found working and having fun with her shijahs (friends) at The Western Arctic Youth Collective.
