COOKEILIDH - Making Spirits Bright!

Get ready for a fun and festive evening of Celtic and holiday favourites featuring Cookeilidh. From nostalgic, traditional carols, to whimsical, modern day tunes of the season, this performance will leave you filled with the holiday spirit!

After several sold out performances throughout BC, Cookeilidh is looking forward to bringing their popular Christmas show to the Cowichan Performing Arts Centre.

Make a festive evening of it! Situated in Duncan BC, the beautiful Cowichan Theatre is just a short drive from Victoria & Nanaimo. Grab some dinner in one of the many local Duncan restaurants, check out the Ladysmith Festival of Lights, or take a ride on the Christmas Express at the BC Forest Discovery Centre, then cap off your evening with the Making Spirits Bright concert.

Cookeilidh has been delighting audiences for years with their high energy traditional, and modernized Celtic tunes. Comprised of 12 string guitar, fiddle, Irish flute, electric bass, bodhran and vocals, they define their music as “Trad with Attitude” and “Pot O’ Gold Folk”.

While being predominantly "Celtic", they have an eclectic set of tunes that includes, Irish, Scottish, Folk, Canadian Maritime, and even a few contemporary songs. A timeless blend of music and vocal numbers that caters to all ages and all audiences.
