As our name suggests we love dogs & kayaking! We are also a friendly, happy team who care deeply about our customers & our planet.
We want you to have a fun filled experience that will make you smile.
Our paddling centre in Sidney is situated at the gateway of the Gulf Islands, something we feel grateful for on a daily basis. Our goal is for you to also experience the beauty & wildlife aplenty while we provide a stress free guided kayak tour. No experience is required.
You may choose from a 2 hour, half day or full day guided tour. The full day tour also includes a delicious picnic lunch made lovingly by Alexander's coffee bar in Sidney.
For families with children aged 7 and up we offer a 2 hour family tour, specially designed for everyone in the family to enjoy.
If kayaking is not your thing we also offer Paddle board guided day & multi day tours & instruction.
As well as having fun we promote safety on the water. All the blue dog team are experts in the field of kayaking, paddle boarding & instruction.
In Sidney, Mill bay & the West coast of Vancouver island we provide Kayak training for all levels of paddlers.
Whether you are a beginner choosing a Paddle Canada Basic or Level 1 course to a seasoned paddler joining our Level 4 course in Clayoquot sound, we want to be part of that kayak coaching journey with you.
For those folks with prior paddling experience we can offer Kayak & Paddle board rental
We don't have a shop but we do sell new & used kayaks when they are available.
We are NDK (Nigel Dennis Kayak) Expedition center and the official dealer for the West Coast of Canada & USA.
NDK is the first choice for our instructor team; If you are interested in buying a kayak but have not tried NDK before. Please contact us to arrange for you to try them out. Our team can happily recommend the right product for you.
